Kerala Education Council, an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Educational Society was established in 2002 to meet the growing need for Montessori and Pre-Primary Education in Kerala and its aims to start high standard Montessori teacher training centers and Pre-Primary teacher training centers, provide job oriented courses, and empower the public about the importance of Pre-Primary education across the villages of Kerala. Kerala education council is a registered society that takes the initiatives to carry out various educational programs associated with the state and central government as well as social welfare department.
Kerala Education Council is one of the leading teacher training institutes in Kerala which has been training teaching aspirants for a successful teaching career. The council that offers regular courses, holyday batches and correspondence courses. Duration of the courses is one academic year. These courses could be pursued by people of all ages despite of their location. We also provide various skill enhancement programs for the students of all ages. Kerala Education Council has been conducting teachers training courses all district in Kerala for the past 18 years. The council further seeks to establish a strong bond with the alumni and the Montessori schools in the vicinity to ensure team work and awareness and overall growth in the community. The Society dedicated to the development of imparting quality education.
We have so many Teachers Training Centers for conducting International Montessori Teachers Training, for imparting knowledge on the Montessori and Pre-Primary ways of teaching. In addition to the candidates who are aspiring to be teachers and mothers can also enroll in this course as they are the ones who take care of the children for the majority of the time. Our objective is to spread awareness about Montessori Philosophies and methodology to all over the world.

Our training courses must demonstrate understanding of educational theory, child development, observation techniques, use and presentation of the Montessori materials, and ability to create appropriate activities for children.
The Montessori Teachers Training Course is a full time programme designed to help students understand the theory and practice of Dr. Montessori’s Philosophy on Education. The course is over a period of one year.
Qualities of Montessori Teacher
A good candidate for a Montessori Teacher would be one that is an active and curious learner. They must respect a child’s unique learning needs, and have an interest and respect for her students. A Montessori teacher will function more as a role model, record keeper, demonstrator, and observer of a child’s behavior and growth. Montessori Teachers allow their students to learn by doing.
